PHUKET

It is no secret that the perfect combination of sand, sun, sea (and the act of guiltless "doing nothingness" ) equates to the perfect recipe of holiday for Tas and I. This year, our tropic getaway requirement was satisfied by a week in Phuket (followed by a short shopping rendezvous in Bangkok).
After many days Safari in Kenya with our minds and bodies on full throttle, a week's relaxation in Paradise put the balance back into the scales of our perfect vacation experience.
Our home away from home for the week, was the Westin, Siray Bay, situated far away from he major city bus and beaches, but something we ended out being thankful for...

(Please ask in comments if you would like to find out any outfit details).

LUCID

I'm wearing:
pants SEED
shoes WINDSOR SMITH
bag TORY BURCH

Tasfia is wearing:
sunglasses RAY BAN
heels ALEXANDER WANG
bag ALEXANDER WANG
necklace GORJANA

These hot, steamy, sunny months we’ve been really keen on the bare shoulder paradigm - especially these two dreamy Cameo numbers Tas and I are sporting. There is something so mystically form-flattering about that perfect bare-shouldered top that it can really bring out the best of the female form in its mysterious ways…

After another long hiatus, I am finally back in the blogosphere. This time my time away was a little more bonafide than the last; I've been busy in an unfamiliar way, that it has become trickier to keep up...

After a two month stint overseas, in Bangladesh, to exploring the African wilderness (and then from Savannah to sea) to Phuket, Thailand,  I finally landed back down under last Friday - Only, not to my hometown, Brisbane but Perth, where we spent a crazed four days preparing for my new life...And there these shots were taken during our short stay there.
(Right now I'm back in Brisbane, but It just so happens that, in two weeks time, I'll be re-locating to sunny Perth to begin Medical student life).

Living out of the same suitcase for over two months on end can really be a stretch,  and,  because I am often traveling, I'm often seeking ways to expand the outfit repertoire of a limited wardrobe.  These days, I fancy having some striped and check pieces in my luggage - I feel that these subtle patterns can really be reworked into many different outfit combinations and permutations.
