SPRING CLEANING

I'm currently in the midst of moving house, and so while I'm down-sizing my wardrobe, I'm also in the process of wardrobe reformation. I'm trying to wipe my closet clean of some of those overly  'loud' and impractical pieces and gradually placing effortless, easy, more versatile pieces (like these) in their stead. In fact, I gotta admit that those incredibly loud and eccentric pieces sitting pretty in my wardrobe have such strong personalities, that they're often too rigid and can't be worn in very many combinations and permutations. And so recently, what I've really been interested is really widening the flexibility of my wardrobe, (dare I say) filling it with more basics that can easily blend into outfits so that I can really also down-size on the number of mornings I rush out of the house leaving a stoop of clothes behind on my bedroom floor (from all the unsuccessful outfits I've tried on)!

xx

(PS: Does anyone know what I can do about blogger distorting the colours and quality of my photos? x)

    1. Hi lovely - I don't think I will ever become a minimalist blogger - it isn't in my character. I am always drawn to unique prints and pretty colours - I will forever love cool prints and colour and will never stop wearing them. However, I do have a lot of really impractical pieces in my wardrobe that I hardly get wear out of, and a lot of pieces that are so overbearing that they are hard to wear more than a few times. And so I'm trying to invest in some more basic pieces as well as some more versatile prints like check, tartan and repetitive geometric prints that can be worn in more outfits :) xx

  8. Such a gerat minimalist look! I'm always trying to downsize my wardrobe to more minimalist pieces so it's budget friendly on my wallet. Regarding the color distortion, I too had that problem! I had a nice photo of the sky but when I uploaded it it was a terrible, terrible blue color. Never found out how to fix it! Wish I could help!

  12. Love this look! Are those sandals recent? Not sure how I haven't noticed them before. I've been looking for something exactly like those.

I know some bloggers use flickr/photobucket to get around the weird compression thing... if that helps any!
