Beyond seasonality, I'm all about slouchy oversized pieces and longer lengths. I am biased to relaxed silhouettes for greater other reason than the obvious - they are more comfy, and thus as the name clearly insinuates, more 'relaxing'. Plus I dig how oversized pieces are breezier and more accommodating to the warmer end of the temperature spectrum, their ease of layering in the cooler end, oh and of course how 'large meal permissible they are. But of course, these longer and oversized silhouettes can have a downside...
I sometimes find with me (and my shorter stature) that longer lengths combined simultaneously with bagginess can now and then be too boxy on my frame if the balance isn't quite right. My favorite way to circumvent this small hiccup is by baring a little skin - either a little midriff or some shoulder! At the moment I'm all about this marvelous, billowing of the shoulder number by MLM. I love how flattering the over the shoulder number is to the neckline and how it adds a tasteful, subtle sexiness...
It is the perfect new addition to the holiday wardrobe I'm working on for my travels next month!
(As I mentioned earlier) My holiday kit is also in need of a breezy, (preferably long-line) pair of white shorts.... I have my radar up at the moment but you cuties will let me know if you spot a spunky pair too wont you?
