To me, Dorota is a very welcome fresh face in fashion, and pretty much the breath of fresh air the fashion scene needs. (Kindly looking past my unintended alliteration and unavoidable use of cliche's) Dorota's new AW13/14 collection is innovative in its truest sense. It goes just as far as needs to go 'outside the box' without being to inaccessible/unwearable and without just falling into the currently rampant trend-oriented stereotypes. I love Dorota's synergy of colour blocking, lace and her fun, flirty feminine silhouettes and her subtle, understated colour palette. There are so many swoon-worthly pieces in the collection that I wanted more than just a few. I had to be strict with myself though - only allowed one! I love the pink, I love the lace, I love the black/white colour blocking. So I chose this dress as it combines all the best elements from the collection!
Tasfia recently went on a tank/t-shirt buying spree for uni; this is one of my favourite fruits from the endeavour - her python print Ksubi tank. I love how well the snake print alluding to texture works well with the truly textured woven leather Friend of Mine skirt that Tasfia is wearing. You cuties may not have noticed, but Tasfia and I are actually separated at the moment. I am so excited to be reunited next weekend! :D
