After getting stuck back into the trials and tribulations of everyday life, these photos seem so foreign and almost as if they are from some parallel reality. It hasn't even been two months since I've returned from my vacationing, yet having the monotonous experiences of everyday life shrouding the memories of holidays, it almost doesn't feel like I was actually there.

Tasfia and I (with our family) visited Langkawi Island before we visited the Maldives.  Our family and I were fortunate enough to be staying at one of the 8,  exclusive beach side villas at the Westin.  Not only did we have our own private pool, but the beach was literally our back yard. It was amazing having this perfect slice of paradise all to ourselves. In fact, our villa was so secluded from the main hotel precinct that every time we wanted to move away from our personal paradise, we had a call up a golf buggy to take us!

This vacation mainly involved partaking in what we do best, lazing by or frolicking in large bodies of water, snorkelling and also feasting on copious amounts of delicious food, namely satay!
