#LIMOUSINE13

I'm wearing: dress GAIL SORRONDA
Tasfia is wearing: dress AJE
I've been on the tips of my toes all week - super busy and a bit stressed out. Not only about uni work but also the fact that the blog has been having massive technical problems recently (associated with our domain). So first things first, temporarily, you can find our blog ONLY at www.insidein-insideout.net
the old link will no longer work or redirect to this page although we are working hard to get it back!
Anyway Wednesday night was the perfect opportunity to escape the current hectic-ness of my daily life. Tas and I wen't along to Westfield's swanky #Limousine13 party to celebrate the launch of their new campaign staring Nicole Warne and the Stenmark twins. Here are some happy snaps from the night with our favourite gal pals and the super gorgeous Nicole and Stenmark twins.
Now off to another fabulous event - the uni-work neglect ensues...

PARSIMONY

I'm wearing: top MAURIE AND EVE, skirt KARLA SPETIC (via Joy Hysteric), sunglasses LE SPECS, shoes STELLA MCARTNEY
Tasfia is wearing: top AJE, skirt DION LEE (both via Joy Hysteric). sunglasses from Korea (similar), shoes SENSO, bag DEADLY PONIES.
The statement skirt. Over sassy shoes, rad bags and cute dresses and tops, I think I find a statement skirt most 'swoon-worthy' (for that reason, we have an abundance of skirts and a shortage of tops, but that is scoop for another day, another chapter). Two of our favourites would for this season would have to be this sweet and flirty Karla Spetic number and this uber rad thermal printed Dion Lee piece Tas is wearing. Something that bothers me though, is that you often see peeps wearing their statement skirts with just a plain grey t-shirt - which just doesn't tick all the boxes for me. Sure, I don't think its right to wear a statement skirt with a busy top, but 'un-busy' doesn't have to equal boring (in my books anyway). Our favourite way to wear a statement skirt is with a fairly monochromatic top, with an interesting cut, or texture - preferably one that complements the silhouette of the skirt!

GOLDEN

All that glitters is gold...OR Ellery. Like every average magpie, pirate or girl, I'm often drawn to shiny things and things of the gleaming, golden variety. These are two favourite golden pieces from Ellery  (both available at Threadbare). This beautiful cap sleeved number I'm wearing is actually reversible (black on the other side) and so you can just reverse the dress, when you've grown tiresome of shining brightly from amongst the pack :P

POLKA

I'm wearing: dress GARY BIGENI, sunglasses KSUBI (via Alterior Motif), watch MICHAEL KORS,  sandals ZARA
Gary Bigeni, this season, you got me at 'Polka dot'. There are a few categories of print that get me all weak-kneed and my heart racing simultaneously. And staring back at me from the top of this list would have to be reptiles, insects and shapes of the perfectly rounded variety.  On top of that, the rad colour palette and dot over dot over dot effect and this perfectly knee length t-shirt dress silhouette made buying this dress irresistible to me. Well actually, since I previewed Gary Bigeni's ss13/14 'Alignment' collection while I was down in Sydney, I've become determined to have pieces in every print from the collection, but of course, my bank account only allows for baby steps at the moment.
I wore this beauty out to brunch last weekend. I was running late and so I didn't really get to accessorize (I legit found these rings, bracelet and sunnies in my bag/Tasfia's car) but the beauty of this dress is that its what I like to think of as a 'no-brainier dress'. It looks fab with/without any accessories.
PS: Looking at these pix would you non-Aussies believe we're in winter at the moment? the weather has been just too uncharacteristically perfect lately that I have a (tiny) irking fear that it may snow or acid rain some time soon...

TRAVELGRAMS

Looking back at travel photos (especially while I'm at Uni) incites all kinds of pain and longing, which may in part be the reason for my stalling this post till now...
During my trip, I broke my better lens on the second day of the holiday and so I ended taking ALOT of pictures on my iphone and as a consequence insta-ing a helluva lot too... These small squares summarise my favourite #travel and #foodstagrams from my vacation in South Korea last month :D (follow me @fablihareza)
